Known Issues

Gameplay

    * Warding Lore is not working.
    * Deadly Precision does not add +1 to Focus after a critical hit.
    * Graceful Demeanour does not improve the power cost of Enlivening Grace.
    * The champion's four Legendary Traits each grant a skill; these skills can be used even before the Trait is equipped at a Bard for the first time.
    * The Pie Maven accomplishment is broken. The counter does not increase when the player eats their questy pie.
    * The Human accomplishment Enmity of the Dead III does not register wights as successful kills.
    * The Minstrel’s “Raise the Spirit” skill has an unnecessary delay.
    * The Lore-master passive skill “Books of Lore” cannot be purchased. Don’t try, you’ll just be out the 40 silver!

Crafting

    * The Serene Stew recipe from the novice cook in Combe cannot be purchased.
    * Tier 2 and Tier 4 Scholar trinkets do not work.
    * The Adept rank is incorrectly being granted before the Journeyman rank.

User Interface

    * The mouse pointer is lost when using mouse controls to steer the character and a dialog box appears onscreen.
    * When holding the CTRL key to keep the corresponding hotbar open, and dragging an item to hotkeyed there, the Dressing Room will open as soon as you select the item in your inventory to be dragged.
    * Some textures do not display properly on ATI Radeon cards (7500, 8500, 9000 Pro)
    * The left and middle mouse buttons sometimes stop panning the camera.
    * Rarely, when the user attempts to drag a skill or an item to a quickslot the skill/item is not placed there.
    * Examining thrown weapons on a vendor or in a recipe will display damage based on your character’s level, not the quality of the item. That uber throwing axe may not be so uber once you buy it.
    * After converting a fellowship to a raid, the Leader and assistant icons don't show.
    * The Captain’s Heralds do not list their skills.
    * The amount of healing from a skill is not displayed in its tooltip.

Graphics/Animations

    * Movies are disabled in this build. Selecting “play movie” on the race and class screens of character generation will cause the screen to fade out and back in immediately.
    * Animations are choppy when the game is run in windowed mode on a non-primary monitor.
    * The Orc Reaver trait should display a flame fx, but doesn’t.
    * Equipped items sometimes don’t change colour when dye is applied. Un-equipping and re-equipping should fix this.
    * The Dwarven Scale Leggings has an icon indicating it is worn on the chest.
    * A “padded helm” from Garth Agarwen is incorrectly displayed as gloves on avatars and has a glove icon.

Sound

    * Captains’ Commands do not have sound effects.
    * The voice narrative for plays twice when the player enters Silverdeep.
    * Minstrel Ballads no longer produce sound effects.
    * Player Weapon Impact sounds are not playing.
    * Gust of Wind has no associated sound effect.

Monster play quests:

    * Monster Players trying to find food sacks from those little Rat-folk were finding a difficult chore ahead of them. We made it a bit easier by placing the Rat-folks' food in their village. (Who are the Rat-folk? Try out Monster Play by visiting the Scrying Pool in Beggar's Alley Bree-town.)
    * There were guards at Lugazag and Tirith Rhaw that believed they were on duty with spears. We didn't know how to tell these poor guys that there were no spears incoming to the Ettenmoors. We decided to just tell them to relax. We feel better about this.
    * Monster Players entering the Ettenmoors for the first time could see one NPC with 10 quests available. We thought this was a bit much, and moved some of the quests off onto other NPCs.
    * Previously, if you suffered defeat while in the Ettenmoors you were whisked away to a defeat circle. There, your enemy could camp you and defeat you again and again without fear. The Free People and the Krahjarn War-Tyrant have become much wiser and now deploy their most powerful warriors to defend those locations.
    * Previously, Food Sacks in Grothum displayed as FoodT Sack. We don't know what a FoodT is, but we know what food is...we renamed the item Food Sack.
    * The Isendeep Mine now flips based off of taking that location, not Lugazag.
    * Orc scouts provided misinformation to their commanders and as a result met an untimely death. Captain-General Harvestgain is the true commander of the Free Peoples' forces at Lugazag.
    * In the quest "Angmar's Tyrants" players were told to return to PLACEHOLDER upon collecting the necessary trophy drop. Since trying to find a PLACEHOLDER is akin to finding a non-entity we decided to give this PLACEHOLDER a name. Players should now seek out First Marshal Sathryth to complete the quest.
    * In the quest, "Get to Grothum, Maggot," Monster players are instructed to head west. We understand that orcs are not terrific with direction, but west leads to Angmar and a good whipping! The directions now correctly state, east.
    * Directions to Lugazag are now clearer.
    * Directions for the Darktide wolves plaguing the rat-folk in Hoarhallow have been updated.
    * Pip Diggins at Ost Ringdyr, an emissary from the little folk at Hoarhallow now knows his name is not really placeholder.
    * Target name in "Leader of the Rat-folk" now calls out Wat Mudbottom!
    * Quests should no longer fail on logout on the monster player side of the Ettenmoors.
    * The flags outside of the Isendeep should now flip when the mine changes hands. Of course, there is another bug preventing this from appearing...
    * Raid quests in the Ettenmoors should now be level 50 for monster players and players alike.

Miscellaneous

    * Characters failing to log out cannot be logged in again.
    * Water shows up as black on the radar map in some regions (the Shire, Ered Luin, Angmar).
    * Kinship officer chat is not working.
    * Horses get stuck on the route from Buckland to West Bree. Waiting several minutes sometimes gets it moving again.
    * Huorns are not aggro’ing properly against ranged attacks.
    * Using a bow causes shields to disappear during the animation, but it does not reappear when the animation is complete even though it is still equipped.
    * In the Archet newbie experience, the doors out of the Mad Badger tavern sometimes disappear, trapping the player inside. Logging out of the game and back in can usually fix this.
    * The stair structure that leads into Thorin’s Halls at the northwest exit has physics issues that can cause a player to fall through and become stuck.
    * If you attempt to delete a character after logging out, the screen turns completely black, and the character does not get deleted.
    * Monsters in some areas still occasionally stand still instead of wandering like they’re supposed to.
    * Characters who deactivate their active title without selecting a new one keep their title in the text floating over their head. Also, if the character changes their surname, it won't update in the floating text while there is no active title.

Quests

    * When on a level 30 class quest, having the quest NPC take you back doesn't take you back to where you left from.
    * In “Rescue By Moonlight,” when the player is defeated by dwarves the instance restarts where the player fell, allowing players to continue the instance with full health and no penalty for defeat.
    * When playing through the Dwarf starter instance, the 5th and final Weak Cave-claw goes into anti-exploit mode when approached. This prevents the monster from being killed and thus prevents the starter instance from being able to be completed.
    * In “Blackwold Headquarters,” Sergeant Applewood sometimes becomes stuck permanently in a “run-home” behaviour and cannot be killed.
    * When a player goes to the room in the Prancing Pony to complete the Epic quest Ch.12, but leaves the room without picking up the Book 2 Foreword quest, they are unable to get back in the room to pick up the quest. This does NOT block their progression, however .
    * In “Orc-Raid in North Downs,” the Captain’s guards don’t defend him, the orcs ignore the guards, and when the Captain dies, the orcs run rampant through the town and kill everyone. This isn’t really how it’s supposed to happen.
    * The Giant boss in Helegrod ends combat, which resets the encounter, when he reaches around 25% health.
    * During the quest An Errand for Millicent Greenlake, the player must repair 10 Trestlespan Breaches on both the east and west side of the bridge. The ones on the west side are not selectable. There are only 9 on the east side, blocking the quest from being completed.
    * Consignment quest timers are broken and the quests will not advance.
    * The "Errant Coinpurse" does not fail when the player goes over the 30-minute time limit.
    * The map is missing in the dungeon area for the quests “Cave-Dwellers,” “Buried Treasure,” and “Deep Vengeance.”
    * The “Floating Log” quest doesn't give out beer as a reward.
    * In “The Plough and Stars” the player is given no real instructions on how to find the next NPC to advance the quest. Hmph.
    * In “A Gift for the North,” the game crashes on the loading screen if the player clicks on the Travel Now option after cancelling the instance, but just before the morale of Ulfar reaches zero in the instance.

Monster play

· Keeps are not displaying the appropriate flags when they are captured by monsters, or displaying the correct colour on the map.
The keys to unlock player treasure chests aren’t in yet.

· Mazauk says “Keep up!”… but doesn’t actually start moving. If you wait for about 2 minutes, he’ll start up the hill and you can complete the quest.

· “Poisoning the Hordale” is not completeable.
