Prochain patch note Euro
« le: 17 février 2007, 10:53:06 »
Comme vous le savez peut etre, le serveur euro a quelques jours de retard sur le serveur américain, voici donc le texte du prochain patch note  :icon_biggrin:

Of Special Note
·   Those of you experiencing a memory leak in the client should find it’s been fixed now!
·   The problem with some doors disappearing, or not appearing, has been fixed. No more getting trapped in the Mad Badger!
·   Grouping at lower levels has been made easier! Players can now "Swiftly" travel between West Bree, Michel Delving, Celondim, and Thorin's Halls without having to discover those locations.
·   Lots of changes to Auctions and Mail – see those sections for more details.
·   Weather should now (actually) work! We fixed an issue that was preventing weather from activating. Most regions in the game should now experience occasional rain, cloudy days, storms, and snow (where appropriate). Enjoy!
·   LFG and Who have had some changes:
o   The LFG panel got a facelift!
o   The LFG panel has been combined with the Who panel. It now supports custom filters to search on, and a dropdown class select filter.
o   The quest tracker now has options to update your Who note to this quest and to do a search for people who also have their who note set to that quest.
o   Added a drop down menu for display mode for the Who UI.
o   The Who UI can now be sorted by area.
·   A large-scale change to monster play quests has taken place. Many timers were increased; many quests have had the number of items or kills needed reduced. This was done in an effort to spread the battles out across various areas rather than leaving the focus at Hoarhallow. For players entering the Ettenmoors, make certain to visit Ost Ringdyr!
·   With the update to travel nodes between capital cities and other outlying areas, and in response to requests to join friends more quickly, we have decided to remove the restrictions on Racial Prologues. There is one small caveat to this change. Due to the nature of the joined finale between Dwarves and Elves, you will not be able begin the Dwarf prologue or Elf prologue after beginning the unified pieces of the quest arc.
·   No more bard trait slotting exploiting! You know who you are.
·   Watch your step! Falling too far will have a longer-lasting impact on your general health and well-being.
·   Many changes to common/uncommon/rare weapons: Many of the better looking weapons are now only seen as uncommon or rares. This means there is a high probability that your weapon may look and be named differently.
·   Helmets and hats are now dyeable! Huzzah!
·   One small overlooked piece of code disabled all UI Skinning. It's now fixed!
·   Players and monster players can no longer add each other to their Friend lists.
·   Keep banner flipping has been re-enabled, so the banners will now correctly indicate who has control of a keep.
·   When a player leaves monster play, he is now forced to wait 25 seconds like normal players.
·   Stuck? Type /stuck! After issuing the command, you will be frozen in place for 1 minute before being teleported home. It shares a cooldown with your map home, so don't expect to use it more than once an hour.
·   The fee for posting auctions has been changed to be a percentage of the item's value, with a minimum posting fee of 5 copper for normal auctions and 30 silver for kinship auctions. Previously the fee was a percentage of the asking price!
·   The Rest system was fixed to slow down the rate of rest accrual.
Gameplay
·   Monsters won’t stay in anti-exploit mode as long, if they're able to break out of it.
·   Monsters should now be able to wander into shallow water, and walk over small obstacles when they would previously get stuck on.
·   Fixed a problem with large monsters getting stuck in anti-exploit mode.
Skills
·   Skill recovery time is now "live" and counts down in tooltips.
·   Burglars can now track many chests in which quest items are found.
·   “Vexing Blow” is no longer a force attack. However it has a 200% increase in threat generation!
·   The cooldown for all of the Captain's Mark skills has been reduced to 20 seconds.
·   The effect descriptions for “Command: Relentless Attack,” “Command: On Guard,” and “Telling Mark” have been updated, and their effectiveness has been reduced slightly.
·   “Battle Shout” has had its range reduced to 20 meters.
·   Cleaned up the Captain's skill, effect, and item descriptions to be 37% more informative and 22% less misleading!
Traits/Titles/Accomplishments
·   You will now see your current progress towards an accomplishment in a tooltip over the progress bar.
·   Bards no longer bug you to confirm changes when you haven't done anything with your traits.
·   Fixed a bug which would cause a player’s title to vanish when logging out and re-entering the world.
·   Updated the format of the title UI to show the active title, as well as some other aesthetic changes.
·   Title display now appears correctly.
Adoptions
·   The Character Bio page will now properly update when adopting or abandoning relationships.
·   Fixed a bug which allowed children to adopt their parents. You cannot be your own grand-daddy!
Monster Play
·   Monster play spiders have been made a bit smaller (but don't worry, you're still as lethal as ever!)
·   Rejoice, servants of Lugbúrz! We are graced with the strength of our lord and master, and he wills it that we are rewarded for our efforts in the Ettenmoors! Your destiny awaits! For Angmar! For Lugbúrz! (Accomplishments are now available to monster players in the Ettenmoors. These include new fast travel maps available only to monster players for quests completed at strategic locations.)
·   Monster players will now correctly receive credit and begin working toward the Slayer achievements available in the Ettenmoors upon successfully killing a player of any race.
·   Players can no longer make monster player names with illegal characters in them.
·   The kinship tab has been disabled for monster players.
·   Upon entering monster play, the name field now starts with the cursor in it.
·   Monster play quests now show the Destiny point reward in the quest description.

·   Monster player names now show up above the monster player viewport.
·   Monster player “slay player” accomplishments should be working now.
User Interface
·   Added special icons for ranged conjunction skills (these act exactly like their melee pairs, only the icon is different).
·   No more mysterious "General Error" when you move, or are otherwise interrupted while performing an action.
·   The tooltips for some skills with fervour or focus costs have been simplified to just "Costs X fervour/focus."

·   The Trait displays in your character journal and when talking to a bard now include descriptions.
·   Accepting changes to your Trait layout at a bard will now dismiss any pets.
·   When examining virtues, you will now see a second tooltip showing them at their next rank.
·   The tooltip for your Hope and Dread is simplified and now includes an icon.
·   The map home recovery time now counts down while you are logged out.
·   You will no longer lose your selection in the world by right-clicking or clicking on, or using, an item in your inventory or on your equipment panel.
·   The War tab now shows total Infamy for monster players and total Renown for players.
·   Fixed the journal not updating “Add to quest tracker” button properly.
·   Added craft proficiency and mastery tutorial hints.
·   The vendor window was fixed to sort in front of other windows when it’s first opened.
·   The Perk UI has been changed to be more like the other UI's in the game.
·   Fixed items to show as usable when a Trait is slotted that changes the players’ allowed equipment categories.

·   When using hotkeys for certain options (like the floaty name toggle), you will get text confirmation of the new setting.
·   The Options panel will now save its position.
·   Fixed a bug that could cause you to temporarily not be able to drag items to the main shortcut bar on the toolbar.
·   Filtering has been fleshed out into many of our systems to allow for a more Teen-rated environment. The filtering can be disabled through the options page, but this will only allow you to see otherwise filtered strings.
·   You should be able to use the context-sensitive menus to send tells and invite players again.
·   Added tooltips for the combat effectivenesses in the character sheet.
·   No longer do floaty names make it difficult to loot overlapping corpses!

o In Overhill, a pair of friendly Hobbits are willing to collect hides.
o In Combe, a pair of lumberjacks offer their services.
o In Duillond, a pair of librarians will do some research for you.

Quests

General:
·   Tweaks and bugfixes to the Great Barrows, Garth Agarwen, and Fornost.
o   Fixed broken boss resets.
o   Fixed broken doors in Fornost.
o   Thinning out of instances to improve gameplay times
o   Other various tweaks to improve fun and playability.
·   Fixed a problem with the quest history panel not showing colors correctly.
·   Someone bumped the levers on the Fun Machine responsible for tuning the Level 45 Class Quests, and dangerously low levels of Fun were detected! The problem has been rectified - the drop rates on the items you need to collect have been changed from five percent to sixty percent. We've set up police tape around the Fun Machine to ensure it doesn't happen again.
·   The dormancy, link-dead, and quest-completion timers before which a player is removed from most quest instances have been set or increased to 5 minutes.

·   Quest rewards:
o   We did a large art pass on quest weapon rewards, and quest reward hats now have varied starting colors.

o   Added some visual effects to a number of quest reward bows.
o   Residents of Ered Luin have noticed that inexperienced adventurers don't like the two-handed weapons they have been giving out, so many decided to give out one-handed weapons instead.
Specific quests:
·   Be cautious in the Isendeep Mine! Drakes have been spotted within the mine itself and several more cave-claws have burrowed through the floor of the mine.
·   The bears in Arador's End were dropping wolf ears. Apparently they were some horrific frankenmonster! This has been fixed. They now drop furry bear ears.
·   You will no longer see the Bard of Rivendell at Glân Vraig. He went back to Rivendell and left a new bard in his place.

·   Talagan's Staff no longer disappears at the start of the Elf newbie instance.
·   Stone-trolls in the Bruinen Gorges will now satisfy the “Very Unlike Trolls” quest.
·   When Grimbark dies in the game, his beehives die for real!
·   The notes for “The Call of Precious Things, Part Two” and “The Heart of the Wood, Part Two” now reveal that Bárthr Dourhand and Harmon Rushes are not in Mithrenost itself.
·   The goblins now properly knock down the wall in “A Well-Ordered Mind,” and they brought along some high-level champions to discourage Lore-masters who might otherwise be tempted to farm the instance for fun and profit. There's more time between waves now as well.
·   You can call him Zhurpukh, and you can call him Zhurpukh of the Deeps, but you can't call him Zhurpukh of the Deep Pockets anymore... he's lost all his loot! Champions 1, Farmers 0!
·   Fenton Marshley has taken up residence outside the Archet Hunting Lodge. It was too stuffy inside for his keen hunter sensibilities. Also, the other hunters complained that he smelled a bit... ripe.
·   Fixed the drop rate of relic fragments for snow-lurkers involved with “Unwitting Scavengers.”
·   We have so many quests sometimes we lose track.... Connected up the North Downs quests “The Iron Collar” and “Collar for the King” so they are actually in the game now.
·   The quest reward for the "Played Out" quest has been reduced.
·   The chest for the “Second Gear” quest has been replaced on the south side of the goblin fort near Noglond.
·   The method of entry to the vault in the riddle-master quest has been changed.
·   Skorgrim's Bloom should be Skorgrìm's Bloom. The entire design team collectively hides their faces in shame.
·   The crates for the “Greater Theft” quest in the Lonelands have been converted to use our client-side-despawn tech, so multiple questers can do this quest at the same time without running out of crates.
·   In the “Coat of Shadow” quest, we have made the harrow weed much easier to spot, added a number of new harrow weed spawns, and corrected the references to stalker hides, since they were really dire warg hides. Phew.
·   Warning: Evil Giants! Bring Friends! This quest has been marked to require a fellowship.
·   Updated the Lonelands "Iron-jaws" quest to specify which kinds of warg paws are required for the quest, and why. More suitable wargs will be placed in the quest area, soon, as well.
·   Vendor Gardenia Bracegirdle was having a bad hair day. She has gone to the local parlour and feels much better now.
·   The boss in the second tower in Fornost now resets properly. You’ll be able to try him again and fight him if you don’t beat him the first time you face him.
·   The quests “Tainted Living” and “Rings of Rhudar” can’t be bestowed on a player until they have completed Book 2 Chapter 8.
·   Players can once again enter the Ancient Tower in Barad Dhorn.
Monster play quests:
·   All quests that require you to defeat a tower, keep or location master now propagate to all members involved in the conflict. There is a generous zone surrounding the locations allowing the quest to advance. Additionally, monster players will see this quest complete immediately. Normal players must still return to the bestowing NPC to receive the quest reward.
·   Elite Archers have made their way to guard the bases in the Ettenmoors. Be wary of approaching the bases, as these archers are dead-eyes capable of slaughtering you with a single arrow. You have been warned.
·   Guards in the Ettenmoors never got the memo that the bears and eagles were their friends. All friendly fire has ceased, and the bears and eagles seem a forgiving bunch.
·   Norbogs and Neekers, Norbogs and Neekers... Norbog Sandwich (did you get the reference?) Neekers in the Ettenmoors are now Norbogs.
·   There was an error where the Food Sacks found in Hoarhallow showed up as Foodt Sack. Now, we are not entirely certain what a Foodt is...but it's not something that we liked seeing.
·   Quartermaster Ash was hoarding the keys used to reward players who have earned the right to use the chests at Glân Vraig. He's been warned that this is behavior unbecoming of an S-Mart employee and will now, "Give those medieval morons their due."
·   First Marshal Gorinn of the Free Peoples, found at Tol Ascarnen, no longer appears to have spent the week in a taffy puller.
·   When you look at a Hobbit, Elf, or Dwarf in the Ettenmoors, they are no longer listed as Man in their tooltip.
·   First Marshals who were displaying as Elite are no longer Elite... they are now Nemesis level, as intended. Prepare for the butt-whooping glory!
·   Coldfells Scouts (Elven males) are no longer bald. Look, hair!
·   Sun-touched trolls without heads no longer mention that they have heads in their description.
·   War-tyrant Akúlhun apologizes for nothing! Nothing! His lackeys and toadies told him that the poison in the barrel for the Poison the Hoardale quest could be opened by all monster players. How was he to know that they were lying? Those responsible have received a terrible lashing and will soon return to the salt marsh in Angmar. The quest can now be completed, and the War-tyrant will be pleased!
·   Gorgoris went away for a bit. Her broodlings missed her and now she’s back!
·   Slay the Free Peoples no longer has a FIX ME: in the first quest objective.
·   Golloval, the target of the monster play quests from the Isendeep Mine, now appears on landscape.
·   There were several stone troll statues of the unusable variety in the area of Arador's End. These were removed because they were purely decorative, contained no treasure, and could confuse players unsure of the mechanics in the Ettenmoors.
·   Hoarhallow's farm was full of Brittleleaf sprouts; so much so that going near the village caused a bit of concern for some. The sprouts have been thinned out.
·   “Tasty Little Farmers and Gardeners” is no longer for the benefit of Lugazag!

un patch spécial RoXXor

Citer
Broccoli has been replaced by cauliflower. All hail cauliflower!

 ;D  ;D
